Helen Hudson is a Fellow of the CIPD and has worked in HR for nearly 25 years in well known businesses
Starting her HR career in The John Lewis Partnership before progressing quickly to HR management roles in the Kingfisher and Woolworths retail groups working for Entertainment UK Limited. Here, Helen cut her teeth in HR operational management before specialising in Management Development. She relocated from London back to Yorkshire in the mid 2000s where she was recruited by Centrica Storage plc (part of Centrica plc) to set up and lead their Learning and Development function.
After a few years in the offshore gas industry, she was lured into food manufacturing where she spent nearly 12 years at McCain Foods Ltd in HR leadership roles, initially establishing a Learning and Development department before leading the HR function for the GB business as Head of HR. Helen ended her career at McCain by leading the people, change and learning workstreams of a £100m supply chain transformation project.
Helen has held several HR leadership roles and has had a successful career working across the HR spectrum, both operationally and strategically.
Her desire to use this experience and wealth of skills is what led her to develop Dynamic People Solutions to support small and medium sized businesses across Hull, the Humber and throughout the Yorkshire area, as well as working remotely with businesses further afield in locations such as London and Manchester.
